Emily grew up gushing over high fashion and bridal magazines. Her earliest fashion presentation was a very professionally made binder of bridal cut outs she cohesively curated to display the season’s latest trends. In her early school she was always doodling outfits and one day even decided to draw all the Sound of Music outfits, because why not.
Following her passion, Emily attended Colorado State University where she studied fashion design. In her last semester, Emily had the unique opportunity to intern for the great American designer, Zac Posen in New York City.
The years following led Emily to explore countless areas of the fashion industry including; custom clothing, public relations, fashion journalism, high end retail, business to business selling, styling, wholesale, and fashion show production, just to name a few. Taking in all this experience led her to debut her first collection with a self-produced fashion show called Fashion is Danger in 2016.
Since then, Emily had produced several more collections with her most recent being Grit Met Glam. In this collection she played with feathers, jeweled chains, hand-dyeing, embroidered sequins, and explored fabric manipulation. This was her first experience producing a short film to encapsulate the designs and she took the chance to indulge in collaborating with a music producer to bring it all together.
Emily’s designs seek to explore feminine nature with sophisticated cocktail dresses, funky separates, sassy gloves and bags, and of course lovingly curated embellishments. She is devoted to making exhilarating clothing that make the wearer feel powerful and gorgeous in every way.
